Orhaniye Köyü, Orhaniye bay, Orhaniye village, all refer to the village of Orhaniye near Marmaris, Mugla. It is located on the Bozburun peninsula, protected by government laws against the excesses of mass tourism, so remains a wonderful unspoilt and under-developed part of Turkey, often referred to as a living Museum. The Bozburun peninsula itself is opposite the Datca Peninsula, at the point where the Mediterranean sea meets the Aegean sea. Orhaniye Köyü has a wonderful climate all year around, similar to that found in California.  For ideas on local places to stay and more information on Orhaniye, please browse the Orhaniye Village Web Site.

Within a few kilometres you get up in the hills to the pretty village of Bayir with its stunning views or travel down the peninsula to Bozburun which lives off boat building and yacht servicing.

Orhaniye Köyü may only be 25 Km from Marmaris but it could be easily be the other side of the world, as it is very calm and relaxed, compared to the bustle and bright lights of Marmaris.

Orhaniye Köyü is about two hours drive away from Dalaman Airport which is the closest and most convenient airport to enter Turkey.

Now there are many charter flights all the year round from most UK and European airports to Dalaman.
